Getting to the Institute
PeaceTech Lab is located inside the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). The street address for USIP is:

ENTERING THE INSTITUTE
Please note the following requirements for entry to the USIP building and allow a minimum of 10 minutes to clear security:
- Guests are required to enter via the 23rd Street entrance.
- All guests must have a valid photo ID for entry.
- Screening of guests and visitors entering the building using metal detectors is required. All handbags, briefcases, laptops, etc. must be placed on the X-ray machines for scanning.
- All guests must check-in at the second floor welcome desk upon arrival to receive a badge to access to the event space.
METRO
The U.S. Institute of Peace is a short walk (0.6 miles) from Metro’s Foggy Bottom – GWU (Blue/Orange line) subway station. At street level turn right at 23rd Street, walk south toward Constitution Avenue (away from the traffic circle). The U.S. Institute of Peace is at the corner of 23rd Street and Constitution Avenue, NW. It is directly across the street from the U.S. Department of State. Driving directions to PeaceTech Lab from Constitution Hall:
Head northwest toward Nebraska Ave NW
Turn right onto Nebraska Ave NW
Turn right toward Massachusetts Ave NW
Continue straight onto Massachusetts Ave NW for 2.6 mi
At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto 23rd St NW
Turn left to stay on 23rd St NW for 0.6 mi
At Washington Cir NW, take the 3rd exit and stay on 23rd St NW
Destination will be on the right
